Removal and damage repair

Wild animal pests invading your home can damage your property, pose health risks, and be a general nuisance. Whatever the situation, The Animal Movers have a tried-and-true solutions for removing these unwanted guests humanely, and without doing any further damage to your home.

One-way Doors

If wild animal pests have made themselves at home in your attic or under your deck, we will install a one-way door on their entrance hole so that the animals can get out of their den, but cannot re-enter. We will also make the necessary repairs to your home to help ensure that the pests will not be able to find another access point.

If the wild animals have young that aren't old enough to exit on their own, The Animal Movers will humanely remove them, and leave them in a warm box nearby the exit to their den so their mother can easily find them to relocate them to an alternate den site. You should never try to remove infant animals from your home yourself. Most wild animals are extremely protective of their young, and could seriously injure anyone they believe to be a threat to their family. The best option is for you to call in the wildlife removal professionals.

Once we know the wild animal pests are gone, we will remove the one-way door and repair the entry point to ensure the animal pest cannot get back in and so the area will not leak.

Physical Removal

If a wild animal pest is loose in your home, call us immediately. We will contain it in a small area, and use a net to catch it so that we can release it outside of your living space. We do not recommend attempting to deal with the pest yourself, as wild animals can be dangerous when frightened or cornered.

Removal of Deceased Animals

Unfortunately, invading animals will sometimes die in inconvenient locations, such as under your porch or deck, inside walls, in attics, or inside a chimney. The smell of the decomposing animal can be overwhelming, especially if it is one of the larger species of wild animal pests, such as a raccoon or a skunk. If you have a dead wild animal pest trapped somewhere in your home, call us immediately. We will arrive as soon as we can, and remove the animal and its unpleasant odour as swiftly and efficiently as possible. We will dispose of the animal carcass properly, so you don't have to. Rest assured that we will not just put the carcass in the trash, as this is both illegal and a potential health hazard.

Insulation
